Beacon Hubs are a resource for local people. We offer drop-in sessions weekly at various locations.
The sessions are led by a clinician (nurse) alongside Beacon Ambassadors who are trained peer educators. Come by and grab a hot drink and a snack and talk to our friendly team.
During the sessions you can access:
blood pressure checks
information about vaccines
mental health support.
We aim for sessions to be supportive and engaging. Our approach is holistic and offers practical support around our key objectives /ABCDEs:

The Information Hub offers support by signposting and referring to specialist advice services. This could include local mental health services, benefits, debt, housing advice organisations, physical wellbeing, smoking cessation and advocacy.

The Open Door is a community drop-in service offering a warm space for residents to connect, enjoy free hot drinks and food together and access a range of activities and support services.
