What is this service?

Beacon Hubs are a resource for local people. We offer drop-in sessions weekly at various locations.

The sessions are led by a clinician (nurse) alongside Beacon Ambassadors who are trained peer educators.  Come by and grab a hot drink and a snack and talk to our friendly team.

During the sessions you can access:

  • blood pressure checks

  • information about vaccines

  • mental health support.

We aim for sessions to be supportive and engaging. Our approach is holistic and offers practical support around our key objectives /ABCDEs:

  • Activity levels

  • Blood Pressure awareness

  • Cancer Screening awareness

  • Diet andDiabetes awareness

  • Eye health awareness

  • pSychological support forStress and other wellbeing concerns.

No Beacon Hub is the same as we aim to deliver the most suitable approach for that locality.
