When a ‘Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards’ (DoLS) authorisation is in place and there is no suitable RPR, an advocate can take on the role of RPR.
An opportunity to mix with others with Parkinson's and chat together.

We hold a monthly meeting for people with Parkinson's to share their individual journeys. Good peer support, for carers, family and friends too.
We hold the meetings on the last Wednesday of each month from noon - 2:30pm at the Fox on the Hill Public House, 149 Denmark Hill, SE5 8BH.
You need to buy your own lunch and drinks.
We have professional speakers from time to time too.
There is parking and the venue in on good bus/rail routes too.
I like to attend to meet with people who are on the same Parkinson's journey as me. It's peer support and that is important to have for friendship.

Every last Wednesday of the month.
