Join our brand new 8-week dance programme and discover how to make your body and mind move freely and joyfully. Explore how renowned contemporary dance company Shobana Jeyasingh Dance creates movement, and rejoice in dancing together and making your own choreography using the communal and celebratory folk dance of Dabke (an intergenerational Middle Eastern dance).
There will be a tea and biscuit break at the end and the chance to mingle.
This programme is designed for adults with early-stage dementia, their companions and those looking to preserve brain health, with or without a diagnosis.
Dates: Friday 8, 15, 22, 29 October 5, 12, 19, 26 November 2021 Time: 10:30am -12:00pm
To assure all our participants the greatest possible confidence and to minimise risk, this programme is open only to participants who have been double vaccinated against Covid, unless they can produce a negative Covid test result 48 hours before each workshop.
